Gravitas pens began in 2015, originally under the name Ben Walsh Design. Founded and still led by Ben Walsh, our brand has its roots in the cabinet-making craft and furniture design, where Ben’s expertise first found expression in hand-made concrete pens. These early creations allowed Ben to forge strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers that serve some of the most renowned pen brands worldwide.

Driven by a vision to create a premium pen brand using top-quality materials designed to last a lifetime, Ben embarked on a journey in the ”Precision Machined” world. Leveraging his industry connections, he meticulously crafted and refined his designs, dedicating countless hours to perfecting each detail. After numerous iterations and extensive collaboration, Gravitas Pens was born — a brand that embodies excellence, durability, and timeless style.

As of 2024, Gravitas is charting a new course towards enhanced customer service by relocating all deliveries and operations to Romania, in partnership with Emy from Pen Venture. This new venture, aptly named Gravitas Venture, marks the beginning of an exciting chapter, where our commitment to quality and innovation meets a renewed focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
